The flavor is light and unique, smooth and mellow, with a slight sweetness at the end of the sip. It had been a while since I used loose tea leaves, lazily using tea bags for a while instead; so I was very pleased when I brewed my first pot. I have had to experiment a bit with the amount of tea leaves to use in my large Tetsubin teapot. The directions say to use one level teaspoon of tea leaves per cup, which seems about right if "cup" is referring to 8 ounces and not the small cups that match my teapot.

I ordered this from Amazon and it must have been stale. White tea is wonderful, but drinking a cup of straw water is NOT!!! Don't waste your time on this one. Unless you enjoy straw. It even smells the same way. It's packaged in a paper bag in a box too. I tossed mine out.
